Default Deleting previous user's personal email

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all, I have a question and hope someone can help me. I have a Blackberry Bold that for some reason after wiping the device, deleting the service books registering it on our BES Server, I am still getting the previous users personal MSN email. I have tried everyting but still the same issue, even after I setup my exchange email on it, i still get his msn account email. is there something else i need to do to fix this? i have tried everything on the web and forums but still the same issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

The previous user's BIS account is still associated with that device's PIN. Your best bet is to have the carrier release the PIN from the account.

Sometimes the carrier won't do it. Might have to contact the previous user and have them cancel their BIS account.

Even if it's an MSN email? I thought BIS was for only blackberry.net email. I'll call the carrier and have them release it. Thanks for the info.

BIS is for any personal email. MSN, gmail, and the ability to set up a personal blackberry.net email

You definitely need to have the previous owner call the carrier and have them release the PIN. This is what I had to do. Then the emails stopped.
