Default Problems with BOLD and updating OS

Please Login to Remove!

Okay got my bold a few days ago. A couple of problems:

1) wifi stopped working, when i try to enable it it automatically turns off again
2) first time starting up took like 1 minute, now takes like 3-4 minutes
3) i only have msn/facebook application and it shows as 29 mg memory free, how can i increase this?

and finally i'm running on .162, should i upgrade to a newer version? what are the benefits?

thanks

edit: oh and in terms of charging the bold, is it okay if i just plug it in and leave it plugged in while i use it till it charges? or is there a specific way i should go about charging it.

Default

Wirelessly posted (8300)

1) Unsure, upgrade os
2) Maxmemory berrycoder.com
29 free is fine less than about 15-12 start getting concerned

Upgrading generally offers a better experience .190 and .210 are very popular but all versions have their quirks
3) Battery loves to be charged constantly, it is fine to use while charging
