Default newbie bold questions

Hello- just bought a bold and unlocked to be on tmo-
Havent had a BB in 5 yrs anyway- I am converting from Winmo-
I am using BIS

I have read that you can get OS updates OTA- how do I do this on my phone- cant find the option to update?

1 thing that bugs me is that my work email gets pushed to my bb but when I am on my desktop the emails come into outlook but are marked as read already. I assume cause it came to my bb first- this is hard to keep track while you have so many emails. I want them to be on my desktop as unread until I read them- any ideas??

with my winmo phone I had it on my exchange server so when I deleted an email on my desktop it would do the same to my phone so it organizes well- no since BIS doesnt do that I have like 1000 emails on my phone that I need to go through and either delete, keep or save as I cant file them. Do people just delete all on the phone (not phone and server) once a week and start fresh? what do people do????

how do I manage 2 calendars- I see you can color coat but how do I have 2 seperate calendars (1 work 1 for play)? I have both work and personal email pushed and only sync my works outlook via cable- can I make a seperate personal calendar? thx

How do I change the "sent from BB" sig on my bb?

the design and usability are great

Thanks in advance - I

some of these im not sure about but

the OTA updates will be under options-advanced-wireless upgrade, but to be honest, i dont know if anyone uses it, as they download and install on pc and use desktop manager to update.

if you highlight the date part in messages and go to options - delete prior, it will delete all messages previous to that date...i.e. all below it. but there is an option under the below settings for sync deleted items, but this will come from the server. you would need to have outlook to check the leave messages on server option and then the delete from server when deleted from deleted folder.

to change the sig, it will be in your BIS settings online. click the edit on the email account, delete the sig and save.
