I have a Bold that i use a 3 sim card with. The phone works great and the wi-fi is fab. I have asked 3 when they will have a data pack available for Blackberry and they say it will be soon. Does anyone know when it will be??

I've used my Bold succesfully on 3 in Hong Kong - but it's a Rogers bold and I was roaming. Why don't you ask the network?

Hi, how do i get Rogers Bold? I have asked 3 loads of times and some call centre reps say it's imminent, others say there is no date yet for BB launch.

The Rogers software wont make your phone a rogers network phone.
it wil only install rogers OS on the phone, and has nothing to do with the network you are on, or the data plan.

What network is your phone branded to?
I'm guessing it is unlocked if you have a "3" sim card in it?

Yes it's a sim free purchase (the BB) to replace the infuriating nokia from 3. I see that the Rogers is a network provider and that it won't work. I get the 3 service data and i web browse using the 3 "add-on" ("internet max"), but the email facility doen't wortk so i have to check emails using the browser.

nothing you can do until 3 get a blackberry data plan, unless you switch providers

If you are using a 3 SIM card, you need to wait for 3 to introduce BB data services.

If you can't wait, find an alternative supplier. These vary, depending where you are based, in the UK you could go o2, t-mob, Vodafone or Orange.... just not 3!
