Contacts Being deleted
 

Has anyone else had a problem with contacts being completely wiped out when you upgrade to a non-at&t(or whatever carrier you have) OS? With 3 different operating systems I would lose 8-10 contacts every time I upgrade. Even if I save and back-up everything.

No, never seen that, and I don't recall hearing of other users here with that issue. I've upgraded numerous BBs over the years dozens of times, never.

Are you sure they not marked with a filter?

Not sure about the filter question. It always ends up being my most used contacts which are deleted. I have no idea why but when I tried upgrading to .217 and .228 both times they separately deleted contacts. Then I moved back to the current at&t(.167) and the contacts returned.

Ah, then they were not deleted, if they 'returned'.

Address Book > Menu > Filters.

They returned via syncing with my Mac. the new OS's would not even sync. Who knows, thanks for your help, I'll check filters.
