Default Voip software

Please Login to Remove!

Well its 2 months since I took dly of the bold, and after 20 years with a Nokia I am slowly getting the hang of things. I am new to all this, and I am trying to keep my phone costs down, I live in Ireland, I put Truphone on the BB but had to give up, Truphone now admit that they have problems and are working on a bug, next was Vopium who just do not answer the emails and the girls in Romania who are customer services do not understand any technical questions. Is anyone using a simple Voip system that I can install.

Two other quick ones how can I keep the backlight on the BB when I am using it it fades and I cannot see the keyboard, also when I dial a number after I finish the dialed numbers are on the screen can I change a setting so it revert to the home screen.

Sorry it's a bit long, great forum, who would of thought that taping a business card in the back of the cover would stop the phone creaking
keep up the good work, THANKS

from what ive read here voip isnt possible, or no one has located 3rd party software that will do it, but to the point of the dialling, as far as i know, there isnt a setting that does this, just press the end call key twice....once to end call, second time, it will revert to home screen

VoIP is not possible on the Bold at this time, and on other devices, the VoIP services offered (UMA) are offered in conjunction with the mobile service providers.

Default VoIP Clients

I've tried two clients on a Bold, EQO and iSkoot for Skype. EQO provides many features including multi-vendor IM, messaging and VoIP. It works well.
