I successfully downloaded Google Map v3.0 but when I run it, I got an error message saying that a network connection is required. I am connected to the internet and I can go to various sites. Is there a setup/configuration that I need to do in my device? I would appreciate your help guys. Thanks.

Are you connected to the internet via the wireless carrier, or through WiFi? You need to have a BB data plan in order to download the maps.

I am connected through WiFi using the wireless network at home. I have a data plan with my wireless provider.

You need a BB data plan to use GoogleMaps AFAIK. The app downloads map data as you move, none is stored on the BB itself.
