Default Reset when connections lost

Hi all. My Bold has reset itself numerous times and the common problem seems to be a dropped connection. I was driving through an area with patchy 3G coverage while my wife was browsing on the Bold and on three occasions the phone reset when coverage was lost. Yesterday I was talking using a bluetooth headset, the battery on the headset died and apparently this caused the Bold to reset. It takes about 4 or 5 minutes to reset and sort itself out and it shows the white screen and "clock" throughout. Is it normal for it to take this long?

I think I have the latest version of ATT's software.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What version are you using on your handheld? Is there a pattern on how long it lasts between resets? You may be better off wiping the unit and upgrading to a new version.

I am using version 4.6.0.167 on the 4.0.0.157 platform. There does not seem to be a pattern in the resets, it did it one night when I was asleep and I only noticed it when I woke up and it asked about a default application, which only happens with a reset.

I will do a search but what do you mean by wiping, doing a reset to as it was when I bought it?
