After establishing a connection with the University's network, and confirming that my blackberry is actually connected I attempt to surf the web using Opera or BB browser and pages dont load.

Normally I would connect to the university's network by connecting and then after opening IE explorer i would be automatically redirected to a page where I have to log in, however after opening one of my mobile broswers I am not taken to a login page. Any solutions?

maybe there is problem with wi fi, had you try with another device or laptop ?

When connected to Wi-Fi, go into Settings>Options>Advanced Options>Browser. What is the default browser set to? It should be either Hotspot Browser or Wi-Fi Browser depending on your OS. If not, change it.

Second: Pull the battery.

Thirdly: not much else you can really do, at that point something is probably blocking it on their end.
