Bold battery gone during the night

Default Bold battery gone during the night

Has anyone experienced this ?
I usually leave the Bold out of the hoslter during the night.
I have it setup to shutdown at 11PM and startup at 7AM automatically.
Yesterday, i left the Bold in the holster (with 25%battery left). This morning, it would not power up. No more battery ! Plugged it in at 7:15AM and now it is noon it has still no finished charging (5% left to go to full charge).
I am wondering why I had suddenly that battery going fully empty ...

Exactly the same happened to me. I checked my Bold at 9pm and it had 75% battery (bit strange as it was fully charged when I left work at 5pm) It goes off at 10pm and back on at 6:30 but would not turn on this morning as the battery was totally dead. Pulled battery for 10 mins and charging now - will see how it goes.

Mine was being odd last night as well, it kept switching itself off, (however for me the battery appears to have been unaffected) for no apparent reason, it was connected to the laptop, and I was trying to remove certain bits of unwanted / un-needed rubbish.

now it takes about 5 minutes to even get to verifying security software :(

Bold is only 2 days old :( :(

That seems like a bad unit ...
Verifying security should take less than 5 seconds ...

The actual Verify does take about 5 Seconds, but getting to it ..........

Mine did that just once a few days ago. Had about 85% battery before I went to bed, got up in the morning and it wouldn't even turn on. I had turned off my Bold prior to going to bed and just left it on the kitchen table. So strange...but this has only happened this one time.

My Bold too now takes about 5 minutes to boot back up.

(very fast)

Think the boot time varies by OS I am running 216 and its slow need to find time to update to the latest.

my .216 is fast....
perhaps its more to do with OS version AND the amount of apps you have?

No idea really, just saying.

I have 221, removed all unnecessary languages and also BB maps
I installed : google app, google maps, gmail, live messenger
GPS is off by default
Browser Push is OFF
I boot in less than 2mns
and last, i always do clean OS installs (no backup and restore in the process)

Burned through the battery again last night. Never happened on aother OS builds so I'm downgrading .247 to .237 for now.
