I have been having loads of issues with my gmail on my bold. I have bounced between POP and IMAP 2 or 3 times as, originally, there was a huge delay with POP. Then, one day, my e-mails began skipping (I wouldn't get some). I sent service books, got them in less than a second, but no better results. So I, delete, and add as IMAP. Everything was great... Until today. I stopped receiving all e-mails around 2:00pm. Service books come down in seconds, but no e-mail still. When I was getting them, the IMAP push was instant. I know my berry is working because I get my OWA work e-mails. Any ideas?

I use gmail with POP and its great. No delays or anything.

Try to wipe your device and re-install the newest software. It might be a software issue

There was supposedly a BIS update this weekend. I would re-add your account using imap as it's supposed to be supported with Gmail now for one way syncing from device to mailbox. Also, no more duplicates filter is necessary when adding via imap.

I actually updated it about a week ago to the newest OS. I will delete and add it one more time and see how it goes.

There's no need to delete/re-add the account for an OS upgrade. However, with the changes over the weekend it may be necessary. I just did it all on the BIS site on my PC.

I have noticed that my Bold will inexplicably sometimes stop performing--- even though you can look at the screen and all looks fine. Sometimes when this happens the service books are received--- sometimes not. My "solution" is to go into Manage Networks-- turn off the network for 30 seconds and then it back on. After that, it usually comes back to life.
