HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center

Ususally takes 24 hours, but if you get their rush service, it will take only 7 hours.

Use the option to purchase the unlock code.

What other option would you be referring to?

If you are with AT&T and purchased your Bold from them, do what I did. Call them, tell them you are going abroad and would like to use a locally purchased SIM and need to unlock phone. They will provide you with the code and even help you with the unlocking steps, all for free.

That's very unethical.

What goes around comes around.

I'm really not trying to start a fight... but I would see the act of paying someone to give you a code to technically 'hack' the phone being just as unethical as a little dishonesty to the carrier.

Removing the subsidy lock is not hacking at all, so you don't have an argument there, but lying shouldn't be acceptable to anyone.

I actually was traveling abroad, and did the same thing... call up att, tell them what's up and they helped me with getting the unlock code, all within minutes.

If you have ATT, dont waste your money. Give them a call, its your handset.

If you're actually traveling abroad, that's fine. If you're not, you shouldn't lie and say you are.

I did do that when i got it last week i even mention it was for my company, we spend at the least $12,000 a month on ATT cell phone plus i dunno how much on the land lines and they said i needed to wait for the phone to be 6 months old. i was like OKAY. i told them we would take it to mexico and they said to give them another phone thats old and they could unlock that.
