I am a newbie here. Recently my LCD went blank, now waiting for a new replacement phone from my carrier. Was thinking is it possible to wipe off all data on the phone by using the desktop manager?

If not, any other methods of doing it?

Pls enlighten this newbie.... please...

First I would connected the Blackberry to the DM and back it up or go to switch device once you get the new Blackberry. Then, You can use JL Commander. Do a search on google to find where it is located.
Once you download it, run the app and follow the prompts on the screen. This will completely wipe the device and come back with OS.
