I have a question for you guys. I download a good amount of apps, usually only the ones that i am actually going to use. But i never know when these apps have been updated. Today i was browsing and realized that the AIM client was updated. So i threw the blackberry on the computer and went into the Blackberry manger to get it to auto update it without me looking to go to the site and re-download it but it told me there were no updates.

My question is:

Is that what the updater is for, or am i wrong and its only a OS updater. Is there anyway to get notification of when an application has a new version out or do i just need to check all the time and see if a new one has been released. Thanks so much, any help would be great.

As far as I know, the updater wont update the apps.
you would have to go to the app and check it.
for example, i read on here that WLM had been updated. I went to the Blackberry help site, where it has all the apps for it, went to WLM, got to the download page, clicked download and it asked if I wanted to replace the original with the new, and gives the build no.s so you can tell whether it is newer or not. (4.12 vs 4.14 for example).

BBnews usually has updates on most apps when a newer one is released, I just check there.

Yea, that's what i thought. Kinda annoying that there is no easy way to do it without needing to navigate to the apps page. Oh well. Thanks so much for the feedback.
