How do I take notes while on a phone call?

Welcome to the forums.

You could press the menu key, and select Home Screen, from there, navigate to your memo pad.

Umm.. ok.. that's over complicated.. just SIMPLY when on the call, hit the blackberry button (left of ball).. then select NOTES.. it's 5th option right under MUTE.

when you hang up the phone, how can you access those notes

Go into your calls log, highlight the call you took notes on. Press the menu button and select View History. Your notes will be in there.
