Default Reformating Folders

Please Login to Remove!

After adding some music to my Bold yesterday, everything under /home/user/ is now unreadable to the device. I can still add music/photos/video to their respective folders when connected to the pc, but the device doesn't see when. Additionally, I can't save photos or videos taken by the device to these folders. I get a "file system error" message when I try this.

I did a clean swipe of the device, but that doesn't seem to have affected the folders. Is there any way reformat these folders without completely reinstalling the OS? The folders are on the device's storage, not a microSD card.
