Default Screen doing weird things when locked...

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

Lately my screen has been doing weird things while my Bold is locked.

For example, it will be locked (and will have been for several minutes) just sitting on my desk, and then all the sudden I look over at it and the screen turns on (like fades from off to on), still on the lock screen. It's doing it in the same way the screen would turn on if someone was calling you while the phone was locked.

Could this possibly be a result of dropping it? I did drop it on the pavement a few days ago but there was only a few scratches to the outer silver lining thing and there's nothing else wrong internally or externally.

It's not really a huge deal but I guess it's wasting battery life..

funny thing happened at the grocery store. i replied to a text, put the bold in the holster, almost immediately realized that i needed to see the next item on the shopping list and pulled it out. the screen went white then a dark blue. i had to do a soft reboot to get it back. anyone else had this happen?
i was on .247 but downgraded to .221 last night because my battery life was very poor. like someone else pointed out...experiences vary. i loved .247's menu quick launch and 'close app' by holding the escape key but hated having to charge the phone in the middle of the day.
PalmPilot LifeDrive--> PalmPilot paper weight --> Pearl --> Curve --> Bold (.247 down to .221 and back up to .247 and right over to .266)

the "close app" by holding escape key works on the bold on any OS. it isnt a new feature of .247
