Unhappy LED flashing red during call

Please Login to Remove!

The LED of my bold keeps flashing red during calls, and it is flashing rapidly. Is it normal?

Are you on a BES? There is an IT Policy option to enable rapid red flashing LED when the mic is active. If this is turned on it will also flash if you are recording a voice note or recording a video.

Yes, I am on BES. Why IT want to create such policy? possible to disable it from my side?

The reason I don't want the flashing flight during call is that I have installed Berrybuzz on my bold. Buzz controls every alert well, but creates a problem for me, which is after I end a call, the LED won't stop flashing. Maybe it is a bug for Buzz.

The reason the option exists is to make it harder for someone to record conversations with malware. IT policies can only be changed on the BES. Since they allow you to install software, they may be agreeable to turn it off. At least ask if they have that feature turned on.
