What were you doing just prior to this happening? Did you perhaps install a new theme?

i changed my battery, i was on a trip and took two batteries with me, turned it off, took the battery out, put the new one in and that was it, problems started.
My BB messenger did not received any messages, the people i sent messages to say they never got them. I reset the device and the bbmessenger started working again but the error message did not go away, every time i try to go into the email, phone logs it gives me the error.
I'm running 4.7 desktop, and 4.6 in the device.
my provider is AT&T and have not installed anything new, other than the bb applications i have google suite, ewallet, and amazegps. the phone was purchased back in october and everything was installed in november maybe december and never had problems before

Need to know the full version number 4.6.0.xxx available from Options -> About.

Early versions of the Bold OS had a problem restarting with too many applications installed. Perversely one could install applications, and as long as a reboot wasn't required everything was fine. But the first reboot (when you pulled you battery to change for eg) would cause problems from missing services, uncaught exceptions, to fatal application errors (causing a failure to complete booting).

Sounds like exactly what I encountered within a few days of getting my Bold... got a little too excited and started loading up on the free stuff and after I think the 5th app or so the errors began. No data period unless I had wifi on. AT&T's "blackberry support" guy whined about a full wipe/OS reinstall unless I wanted to go swap out at a retail store (yes i took the lazy way). Long story short same thing happened again so I did some of my own research eventually upgrading the OS to 4.6.0.247 and viola! BTW the new version gives me more memory, faster browsing and overall better performance.
