I have a Bold with a 2Gig MicroSD card.

I went to purchase an app in the app store and it warned me that I had less than 5MB left in application memory.

What is the difference b/w Application memory free space and Device Memory free space?

I have over 850mb left in Device memory. Why app memory already so low? I don’t have THAT many apps loaded….

….also, if I delete AT&T Navigator from my applications, will my GPS still work? (for Google maps, other apps, etc/)

The media card is mainly for media and to store, music, pictures, video etc.
Device Memory is like RAM as well as stores the memory that executes the program. You need device memory to run the programs. Under 10 mb is too low.

For now - pull your battery with the device on and place back.

After that, look at your memory again.
