Default Unlocked Storm how about Unlocked Bold?

I see people talking about using an unlocked Telus/Bell Storm on Rogers, Could a Bold go the other way? I'm assuming a Storm is GSM and CDMA but I'm not sure.

That is correct. The Storm is a hybrid GSM/CDMA device. The Bold is solely GSM, and can be unlocked for use on GSM networks, but won't cross over to CDMA.

Thanks, I just read the specs on RIM. Any word on a CDMA version of the Bold?

keep in mind unlocking a storm will limit you to only edge speeds not 3g. Though I do forget ...is the GSM antenna a quad band or tri-band only?

It is quad-band, but that is not germane to this thread.
