Default Quick Launch upgrade--> App Error 200--> BRICKED?!

Please Login to Remove!

Holy Smokes. no kidding it happened just like this.
-Got the email that Quick Launch had an update.
-Clicked the link and installed the update
-Hit Run after the update
-Got the white screen and app error 200
-Pulled the battery a ton of times
-Tried the soft reset (alt+shift+delete)
-downloaded JL Cmdr but it just hung at the connecting to device screen
-Tried the insert battery and as soon as the hourglass connected I connected the Bold to the Pc
-Waited until I got the tones that alert that the media card and phone are connected
- Launched App Loader
-Currently praying (hard!) that it loads the phone so I can do a restore

Email the developer or go over to Crackberry where he has been actively working with folks on this upgrade. I had zero issues with upgrading on my 8900...

Default Safe Mode

Hi, maybe this can help you. There is a way to start Bold in Safe Mode (like windows) u need to do this:

1) Take off the battery then put it in again after a few seconds

2) When the red led start flashing press escape

3) It will show a menu, choose ok

4) Remove the app or theme was cause the error

5) Restart the BB

Hope this will help!!!
