the sceen above my lcd was broken so i got a replacement lcd and put it in. however when i powered on the phone the screen was all white with faint blue lines running top to bottom. i was pissed cause i thought the lcd i bought was broken.


so i plug the old one back in, that worked perfectly before other then the crack on the cover, and that one was all white when i turned it on. am i forgetting to do something?

i tried searching the forums and saw some white screen problems but nothing that happened after changing the lcd.

btw, the phone still works. i still get calls and txt alerts.

Did you get the correct lcd? I had seen somewhere on here it was mentioned that there's like 3 different lcds for the bold that vendors are selling? Maybe you got one of the others?

i know for a fact there are different versions for the lcd. my lcd from my rogers bold did not fit on my rim unbranded bold. the part numbers on the back were identical. weird....
