Default Travel Charger faster than USB cable?

Does the included travel charger charge the Bold faster than the USB data cable?

(I confess I did not look this up before posting, although I am quite capable of doing so. Just too old and lazy.)

Yes, the travel charger puts out more voltage than the USB cable.

Trouble is, as an undergraduate, I was more concerned about the grade, than actually learning. So Ohm's Law is still mostly a mystery to me, even after a couple undergrad electronics classes.

This forum is a real treasure. Especially for slackers like me.

You mean Amps BB charging is normally always 5v and same with USB. The amps over USB is typically 0.5 Amps but the travel charger is about 0.7A or 0.8A for the OEM. The higher the amps the faster the charge.

Think of Amps as Pressure/PSI and your Volts as the size of the pipe and your battery as a tub. If you have a 5 inch pipe with .5 PSI or .7 PSI the more pressure the faster the bathtub could be filled.
