i have the settings set to forever, but the last day that shows is from the 16th (2 days ago). people say its because of the memory or something but isnt the bold supposed to have way more memory? i never had this problem with my pearl. it says i have 857.7 mb/859.2mb free so im thinking thats not the problem but im no expert. anyone know how to fix this?

Are you making sure you are closing them and not having them run in the background?
to close an app you must go menu-close/exit, using the end call key merely puts the app into the background.

to see what apps are running press alt and the escape key. make sure there isn't an GPS apps running as these can eat memory, as well as any app that updates frequently.

clear browser cache, browser-options-cache operations and clear all.

what OS are you running? updating to a newer OS can improve memory performance.

i have os 4.6.0.167. how do i upgrade it? i tried wireless upgrade under options and it said none available
the apps that it says i have running are options, camera, home screen, buzz me, phone, messages, blackberry messenger and browser
i havent really downloaded that many apps (it doesnt seem like it at least) just callsblocker (which i cant even get to work), mobile backup, myspace and buzz me.

i cleared the browser cache and everything, right now it says it has 14.3mb free space

you can upgrade as per the stickied thread at the top of this forum.
camera shouldn't be running all the time if you're not using it. this could be the problem, also close options.
only apps that should be running as you cant change that is browser, messages, messenger, phone and home screen.
