I will be getting a BB BOLD soon, just wondering if i get it here in the states and my girlfriend travels to Venezuela...would i be able to communicate with her through the BB messenger??

As long as you both have BlackBerry Data Plans... yes.

If either of you are on a restrictive BES, then you *might* have an issue if the BES has a peer-to-peer encryption key set.
I'm assuming this isn't the case.
