Default world travel ? ie Stuggart Germany

if this question were asked before, i'm sorry

i would love to know if i travel, will i be able to use my phone for instance Germany

i know i will have some roaming charge, but that i can live with that

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 is a quad band GSM device, and will work in Germany. Make sure that your carrier has set up your account to work properly when outside of Canada.

good, thank anyway i will notify my carrier prior to travel,

and i'm sure in the plane i have a "safe mode" to use my BB while we are in the plane

id be very cautious roaming with rogers as your carrier. ive had bills of $3600+ after returning from a month in europe.

thanks and yes i will be very cautious since the roaming free are usually in the $3-4/min

Have fun, I was there in Nov at the Porsche factory and I roamed without any problem with my 8320 with at&t.
