Thumbs down HELP! BB Bold 9000 won't turn on.

Please Login to Remove!

I activated WiFi, then downloaded the application that allows you to use Skype. After that the phone started to stay on for about 30 seconds and then reboot itself. I got tired of it, and pulled the battery. Once the battery was replaced, the phone stoppe working. It won't turn on at all.
I charged it for 2 hours, I removed the battery about 10 times and put it back in. (With and without the charger still on and its combinations)
Nothing appears to work.
I get no lights, not a green one, not a red one.
The phone is completely dead.
What can I do????

Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage).

I'm wondering if you've completely drained the battery with all the reboots.

Wirelessly posted (Hey I'm cool…)

Are you using usb or charger? A usb will not fully charge a battery from 0 to 100.

Using the wall charger. Someone said that because of all the rebooting, maybe it fried the battery or the phone itself. I am wondering if there is any button, combination of buttons, secret button, that can be pressed to reboot it in a different than normal way...I don't know what to do.

Nope, no secret method, we would have told you.

So--on a battery pull while collected to the charger--you get no LED action, no screen flash?

Nope. No action whatsoever. It's like I am plugging the charger into a brick.

Try testing another battery in your bold and see if it's problem with the battery.
