Just use the Desktop Manager>Switch Device Wizard to transfer all of your stuff. Make sure to login to your BIS site and change the PIN and resend service books. The keys will feel very small at first and you will need to type slower to remain accurate, it is more typing since you don't have Suretype but give it a week or two and you will be flying again. It's a great device in my opinion! Enjoy!

Sorry. Original Poster (you) Carrier switch is no problem at all. Use Switch device wizard to transfer all the contacts and data. Then just login to TMO's BIS site and remove your email accounts. Login to ATT's BIS site and add them. Done!
You will have to call t-mobile and have them release the PIN so that you can setup the BIS on at&t, otherwise when creating the account on at&t, it will say "device PIN in use".

They are buying a new device and will have a new PIN with ATT. Unless I missed something here.
thanks for all the help. Looks like I am moving up quite a bit going from pearl to Bold. the capabilities are unreal. The Pearl worked well for what I used it for. I guess I am going to enjoy a rather large step up. Some of my friends encouraged me to go with the google phone. I am glad I stayed with BB for me its time tested and true. I put my pearl through shear hell and it never missed a bit.

No, it was me even originally.
Because you mentioned changing device PIN on t-mob BIS and resending service books; I was like, but the OP is going to AT&T and will need to setup a new account.
That's when I confused setting up the new device PIN and account with releasing the old device for use on the new BIS.
My bad.
