Default cant use wi-fi at home

it works with hotspots but at home i got router and my bold finds it but cant connect, while my laptop connects without problem. is there some difference beetwen hotspots and home wireless internet?

Do you have MAC filtering enabled on the router?
If the MAC address of the BB isn't on list enabled MAC filtering list, the router will refuse the connection

dunno, because i only got router, no programs with it installed, just hardware/// works with my brothers nokia n95
