I don't believe there's any real short cut per se to do what you're asking. I switch profiles in about a second. It's fairly easy to do.
Disable dial from homescreen. Once you've done that, switching profiles is quick and easy.
From the homescreen press F for proFiles then press N for Normal, then press space to select.
So I press F,N,space and I'm on my normal profile. It takes all but a second.
You can press V for Vibrate, Q for Quiet and so on.
Not exactly what you're looking for, but a pretty simple work around.
