Default Latest OS on O2 UK

Please Login to Remove!

recently got my blackberry so apologise if this has been covered. Basically i downloaded the latest OS from the the blackberry website for 02. Instructions told me to install it on my computer then open up my desk top software which will detect it and up date my blackberry. This was fine, im just now wondering if i can uninstall what it installed on my computer now or would it cause problems with my desktop software and any later updates?

nope. any fixes are incorporated into a new OS.
That's why there are so many released sometimes and why other times its a few months between releases.

Its an easier way to incoporate as unlike XP/Vista, there is a limited platform for updates. With memory also being used, a new OS can incorporate updates but streamlines the original code to use less memory.
