I have 2 questions, and I appreciate any help :
1- How can I set up a personal email ( at gmail) , but checking and getting the mail only at my wish , and not always pushed .
2- When I make task and appointments, and view thwm in the Agenda , some of them come with balck font and some with red . I failed to know why or what is the differnce .

I foud out the answer for q2 , it is in red if it starts at the same time with another meeting.

1 - you can't. thats the point of BB, its instant (also instant in most cases) email.

1) Install the gmail stand alone app to your phone then you can check as you wish.
2) Tasks have different colors depending on the status. Just started vs completed will appear different. Red may also mean over due. This is something you setup

But how can i install the gmail as stand alone ? this is my problem.

That was very easy in windows and symbian mobiles, becasue it was in the email menu. But here, there is no item in the menu to faciltate creating an email.

search google from your browser for gmail blackberry app.
then following the links to the download, download and install on BB.
