Default Lost my music and pictures?

Please Login to Remove!

I plugged in my Bold into my computer today and a message saying "error on Media Card" or something along those lines popped up. I unplugged it and and plugged it in again and I'm able to see that the pictures are still there but when I unplug and try to view pictures and listen to music on my phone it says they're not there. Is there anything I can do so that I can access those files on my phone? Thanks for the help.
