Question Bold Failure

Please Login to Remove!

I was in the grocery store today and was using the browser to watch pitch by pitch on MLB dot com and after I got the deli stuff I slipped the phone back into the case. In the check out line I pulled it out and got an error message that said something like "no data available at this location", I clicked OK and then got some other error messages with codes (forget what they are) and after I clicked through them all kinds of stuff is now missing from my phone.

The media folder in now empty
The email icon is missing
The browser icon is gone (but still have the AT&T media net one)
The SMS icon is gone
Several apps that I downloaded are gone as well (CNN, FB, and google maps)

I powered off the phone and turned it back on, but it's still all messed up.

Please advise how I should proceed at this point.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to the forums.

By "powering the phone down", did you pull the battery for about 30 seconds, with the device powered on? If not, give this a try.

I just pulled the battery out as suggested, and everything is now back as it was.

Thank you so much!

Any idea what happened here?

Not entirely sure...you may want to check your availible memory (Options>Status>Memory Free). Running streaming apps can deplete your availible memory pretty quickly.

I have 28.9 MB of free App Memory and 443.2 of 859.2MB Device memory free. Also do not have a media card at this time. Would that help?

Default No screen

I had charged my phone this weekend and hardly used it. This morning I noticed that after putting it in my purse to leave, the camera came on and I turned it off and put the block on. That was at 6:50 a.m. Now, 1:00 p.m., my screen won't even turn on. I took the battery out (but not for 30 seconds) and nothing. Took it out to my car to charge. Any ideas?

It would help a lot. You could also use it to store other media (pics, music, etc.).
