There used to be a service called mydropcard.com which allowed you to use text messaging to send your contact info to another cell phone. Haven't heard much about it lately and the website loads but that is about all.

But not much else AFAIK other than as noted above by akosnitzky.

RexConnect by RexWireless support sending (and receiving?) a vCard via SMS. I never use that feature so other than knowing it's there, I can't tell you how well it works.

Would you simply make a contact for yourself to send to somebody or is there a special "My Contact Info" slot that I haven't been able to find yet?

That's what I do and have two, one for work and one personal. When I need to send someone my contact information, I'll just attached the card to an email.

Default Send and receive business cards by SMS

Hi,

There is a new tool for exchanging Vcards between Blackberry and Nokia. It's called "SMS VCard Add-on" and it's available for little money....

It enables Blackberry users to receive, import and send contacts using the same SMS protocol as Nokia.

You can search the net for "SMS VCard Add-on" and find info on the app.
The reviews are good for this add-on.

If you have email on your phone you can got to address book use the menue key on a contact and hit send as attachment. It opens email but all you have to do is 7652222222@vzwpixs.com and it will send a mms to a verizon phone or use the @ whatever for the different carriers. Google the list sms to email and it will have them all.
