Cool Bold > Mac.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys, hoping one of you thousands of blackberry owners could help me.
Got my bold about 2/ 3 months, & i inserted the CD, however nothing happened when i put it into my macbook.
All i wanted was to put my pictures & music on, & using the CD was the easy way to load on.
Anyways i have just been using the usb connecting to my macbook & bold, and dragging pictures into the pictures folder on 'finder', & the same for music, dragging songs in the music folder on 'finder'

But now im wanting some new themes, & i have no idea how to do it, im guessing you need the cd loaded onto the computer. Any help how to upload it onto the computer & get some themes! Love & peace x

The cd has desktop manager on it and DM is not compatible with Mac :( You would need to download PocketMac or something similar.

Go to Blackberry.com and download PocketMac sync manager. It is free, and you will be able to download music from iTunes, photos from iPhoto, and choose to sync contacts and calendar with Address Book and iCal or Entourage

Blackberry themselves made a program called Media Sync.
There is a Mac Beta thats been out for like a year now and i provided the link for you bellow.

BlackBerry - BlackBerry Media Sync – Tuned Up

Aside of Pocket Mac which really sucks and doesn't work properly with my bold, there is also Missing Sync 2 which is better than Pocket Mac but still not a native interface between Macs and BBs.

Themes u can load via bluetooth cause they're very small and take like 15 secs to load.

Good luck dude

There is a rumored native Mac BlackBerry Desktop Client supposedly under development, but it's still MIA, even after more than a year of rumors about it's existence. The rumblings about it resurfaced again last week in a blog, but I'm beginning to think it's vaporware and wishful thinking on the part of frustrated Mac users like me.

I keep an old IBM ThinkPad around for just phone stuff. While I do sync with my PowerMac through PocketMac, I do backups regularly with the ThinkPad.
