Default pull down lastest emails -after restore to Bold??

Please Login to Remove!

After restoring a backup to my Bold device, I need the device to pull down all the emails from between the date of the backup and the current date.

I tried the Reconcile Now option but it did nothing. I also tried marking all the emails in my inbox as Unread but, that did not work either??

Obviously this is a standard thing you need to do after a restore so how on earth do you do it??

Thanks in advance

Cannot be done on BIS.

If you're on BES, you need to be removed and re-added. Even then you may not get everything depending on how big is the gap.

You get 2 weeks worth of emails (up to 750 max, IIRC) on BES. That's all folks!

x14,
I am with a carrier, but the join up screen where you add yoru device and email accounts looks just like Blackberry Enterprise Server, BES right?
So you mean if I remove and add the handset then all the email inbetween the backup and now, will get pulled down?

Rambo47,
well I would not even mind two weeks worth of emails but that does not seem to work either. since I restored the backup, none of the emails between the backup and now have been pulled down again, however, all new emails come through as normal.
Please tell me how I can get at least two weeks worth?

Jim

I believe that's something that has to be initiated by the BES admin.
