When using internet is there a back key? I know you can go into the menu and go back

Hmm, I use it at time to get back to the last page I visited.

I'm not near my laptop at the moment as I do have a list of keyboard shortcuts, but not on my phone. As soon as I get to it, I'll post it (if it exists), if someone doesn't post it before then.

Then you've only visited one page in your current session, right? If there are multiple pages you've visited then you should be able to go back with the Esc. key. But it only works for the current uninterrupted internet session.
