Default Bold Message "sent by my mobile device"

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Bold 9000 and every mail i send has "sent by my mobile device" at the end, does anyone know how to change this to something more interesting??

Hi, that's just it, i'm on 3 and there is no BIS site, that's why it says "from my mobile device" rather than"..from my Blackberry".

Hi, it won't let me register. The handset was bought sim free and i use the google mail app.

That is likely a setting in Google then, if you are not using the BIS site. It would only be coming from your BIS if you had already registered.

i have tried registering, it says "registration message sent" so maybe i will try again tomorrow.

If you're using the Gmail app, then go into the Settings of Gmail and uncheck the option When I send mail, add "Sent from my mobile device" to the end of my messages, and that should do it.
