| Problem fixed, guys. The latest Desktop Manager will install Russian in seconds. From the Options menu you select Language and pick one of three Russian inputs. Stay away from United States Russian because Romanization of Russian will not jive with this input method. Multitap is better for manual entry (because there aren't enough keys for the Russian alphabet, six keys have two Russian characters) and the standard Russian Federation is good if you use predictive text/word entry. I recommend buying a Bold 9000 Russian keypad on eBay for the best results.
The question marks I posted earlier were simply due to the fact that after selecting an input language, I did not save the language settings. After selecting an input language and then the menu button and Save, I was already in business writing messages xxx1087;xxx1086;-xxx1088;xxx1091;xxx1089;xxx1089;xxx1082;xxx1080;. It works very well.
