Hi everyone, I have a brand new bold about 3 weeks old. Also an LG Vue about 4 months old. Both on 3G network.

This morning both phones started to go in and out of the network. At some times they would work and sometimes they didn't.

Now the Bold is just showing SOS.

The vue doesn't call or receive. When I call that number it just rings but the phone doesn't ring or notify me a call is coming through.

The bold goes to voicemail.

These phones are pretty much new, never dropped, etc.

It seems to coincidental that both phones don't work.

I am hoping it's the SIM but tried to put my wifes Iphone EDGE network sim in my bold and nothing. Maybe thats because they are on different networks, I really don't know but it didn't do anything. It still showed SOS. When I put my 3G sim in her iphone it was the same...nothing.

This makes me think it's the phone but how could both go at the same time? I pray it's just both sims are bad. Who knows. If anyone has had issues with the 3G network today please let me know. That will give me some comfort. Thank you.

It would help to know where you are so others in your area could help.

Did you check the network outage or carrier specific section? I didn't see anything for the US for today.

If you give me a location I could provid an at&t 3g report.
