Exclamation Screen Bugging Out

Please Login to Remove!

I had a VERY strange occurence on my Bold last night.
As I was typing an email, the screen suddenly decided to shut down, but just the normal fade-to-black shut down. It apparently went wack out of colors and began to fade, almost as if abruptly shutting off those old TV monitors.

I was pretty shocked to see it, so I pressed the red cancel button to get out of the screen and it went back on. However, the colors were lighter than normal. The screen looked like it was damaged somehow.
So, I decided to restart the phone (turned off then removed battery).

So far so good, but just currently there was a small 20x20 block of green pixels, as if that region had no color input. It looked like a "Matrix" type of ordeal.

My phone OS is and I've never had a problem with the phone. Update and cared for as my life depends on it... would anyone have any ideas as to this strange occurence? :/
