Default Can send, cannot receive, HELP!

Please Login to Remove!

The problem im dealing with right now is that i can send information, i already checked that, i sent an email with my blackberry to one of the other email accounts i have on the phone, and i checked on my pc and the email was sent, but i never received it on the phone. Also, i can send messages on the bb messenger, but i get no delivery confirmation (the little d on the checkmark). I only have hotspot browser, and when i get to the browser configuration, i have no internet browser option. Bolt and Opera are not working. I have resend my service books and also registered the host routing table, but still no information coming in. I have the 3G working perfectly, i switched to EDGE and its the same.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Had any of this functionality worked for you previously?

It sounds like you're having a problem with your carrier BIS service.

Do this: With the device powered ON, remove the battery and hold a few seconds and reinsert the battery to reboot.

It may indeed be an issue with the carrier BIS service. Try giving your carrier a call, it may be an issue on their end.

It may not be a complete outage, or an outage at all. It may be in how they have you provisioned.

If it is a data outage, then voice and SMS shouldn't be affected.

What were you doing just prior to noticing the problem? Did you install or delete anything? Change any settings?

1. Call your carrier to make sure you BIS planned is still provisioned to your account. It's been known to have the BB Data Plan "drop" from an account on the carrier end.

2. Try the powered on battery pulls again.
