Red face Google Talk not working/connecting

Please Login to Remove!

All,

Google Talk was working just fine on my phone until a week ago. Not sure what happened since then. Now, it keeps on attempting to connect but nothing happens. I get the message Reconnect in xx seconds. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no difference. If I try a wrong user id or password, it does give me the message "Username and password do not match".

I even installed MSN Messenger and that was able to connect just fine. Any ideas?

as google talk and yahoo messenger are developed by RIM, they wont work without a BB data plan.
you could try one of the 3rd party apps that allow for connecting to different messengers.

Default Google Network Problem

My BB is Bold9000, my wife's BB is Curve. She wants to use the Google Talk but then she can not login with the error on User Name & Password does not match. I have tried t use the Google talk two weeks ago but I can't due to the same errors. Two days ago I tried again after herd her complain. Guess what, I can successfully login to google talk without changing anything. However, I tried again yesterday but the mismatch problem happen again. Very annoying problem. Can any Gurus do something to permanently fix the problem?
