Default Background image/wallpaper

I have attempted to change my wallpaper background on my Bold... all wallpapers leave a black edge on the right and left side - I'd guess about 4-5 pixels on each side... this happens for ALL wallpapers except the ones installed native to the theme(s) - yes, it happens regardless of my theme...

I have verified that the dimensions of the wallpaper is 480 x 320, but I cannot make it display as a wallpaper in 'full screen' mode. If I load the image in the media player photos section, it fills the screen, but not as a theme background. I've tried 3 different themes from 2 different theme builders.

Am I the only one with this issue?

I am having the same issue, however I gave up and just use the theme controlled image of my theme.

Have you tried clicking 'Fit to screen' before setting as background?

Yeah... tried that... #fail. I guess it's always something... at least this one is pretty much a nit (in the grand scheme of life)...

I had that happen to a few of the pictures I have in my wallpapers folder. Just went through them again and for some reason when I view the properties of those pictures, the dimensions are 480x369. Not sure how that happened since I resized all of them manually in Photoshop. So probably not the same issue as yours. But it sounded familiar so I checked =P

Thanks, I will check that... they were all 480 x 320 (I checked), but will pull them back from the memory card and check again.

open the wallpaper on the device and zoom once. Then do set as home image and it should cover full screen.

I was going to say that I have never had that problem, guess it's because almost all of my pictures are 1600X1200.
