Default Beside Mode and BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm currently running OS 4.6.0.282 on a 4.1.6 BES, this version and the two before it have seen me experience the following:

I go to the clock and select enter bedside mode, the screen goes dim then black - then when the device locks it goes back to the info screen and the screen stays dim, when I unlock the first thing it asks me is do I want to exit bedside mode?

This is on a clean device with no thrid-party apps installed, with the two previous os's I have even started with a clean BES profile too.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Huw

The clock to remain on screen and the screen to turn off?

Why are you manually entering bedside mode? why not have your settings set to enter bedside mode when charging. This way it never asks you if you want to leave bedside mode.

It would appear the OP isn't charging when entering bedside mode.
