Default XBMed my Bold: cant send/receive e-mails or use mass storage

Please Login to Remove!

I did a warranty exchange on my Bold. I'm in the process of backing up all the info. It appears I have everything backed up, however none of my 3 email accounts can send or receive emails. I sent trials via TXT and my PC but my Bold never got em. Furthermore, I tried sending emails from my Bold and it immediately displays a red X indicating it failed to send. WTF is goin on here? I have network coverage, but even if I didnt Im connected to my wireless network here at home...

Also, Im trying to move one picture from my SD memory to the device memory. I tried doing it on the phone itself but it didnt work. So I figured Id try simply dragging and dropping it on my PC while the Bolds hooked up. Well now, of course, I'm not getting that pop-up dialog box when I plug it in asking what I would like to do (in which case Id choose "open folder to view files"). Theres no drive listed in My Computer either and Ive tried to figure out how to make one for easy access to the device memory when its plugged in, but I cannot figure that out either. Im running Windows Vista Home. Ive tried rebooting my PC as well and it didnt help. Please help me!!

Ryan, what you are going to have to do with your bold is simple. You must update your new IMEI and PIN to your BB BIS account. If you search the forums. you will def find out how to do this, as it is a daily issue.

well i called up work and had em change the IMEI in POS.com II, but didnt think about changing the PIN. And now that u mentioned that, I remember if we ever had someone come into the store with a used BB, they always had to call customer care to get their email setup....this must have been why. im gonna give ATT a call on my way out now. hopefully this is all it takes, otherwise ill be back :P

thanx!
