Default Application memory blackberry bold - 07-04-2009, 07:55 PM

I know that the blackberry bold can only have up 128 mb ram for applications but could a software update fix that or would it have ot be hardware update. Cause if it is a software update, someone could make an application to allow more application memory. Thanks in advance.
