First post... I apologize if this has already been gone over. I've looked on several sites and been unable to find an answer.

I recently created some custom ringtones (on myxer.com) for my new bb.
They work great as a standard setting (everyone) ringtone, however, when I go to a specific contact to set a special ringtone for them the browse option only populates the ringtones that originally came with my bb.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to use my downloaded/custom ringtones for personal tones?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have a bold, but on the other BBs I own, when you get to where you select a ringtone, first you select browse, then at the top of the list is "Browse". Select browse while in the list and it allows you to select the location where you've stored your mp3. I store mine either in a subdirectory called mp3s or under ringtones. Either works.

That did it! Lol, I feel so silly for not thinking and/or trying that. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
After an evening of making custom ringtones I was beginning to feel like I'd wasted my time.
